How Fiberpol Infrastructure collects, uses and protects personal data when you use this website or contact us.

Fiberpol Inc. trading as Fiberpol Infrastructure · Effective date: 20 October 2026

01Who we are and what this policy covers

Fiberpol Infrastructure is a trading name of Fiberpol Inc. (“we”, “us” and “our”). Fiberpol Inc. is responsible for deciding how personal data collected through infrastructure.fiberpol.com (the “Website”) is used and is the data controller for that processing.

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you browse the Website, submit an enquiry, request product information or a quotation, or communicate with us about the Website. It applies to our website activities relating to Barbados and Saint Lucia. Separate notices and agreements may apply if you later buy products, engage us for services or apply for employment.

Contact: [email protected]. Postal address: Fiberpol Inc., Newton Plantation Yard, Christ Church, Barbados. Please mark privacy correspondence “Privacy enquiry”.

02Personal data we collect

  • Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, role, country, and the content of your enquiry. If you choose to provide project details, these may include a site address, requirements, drawings, photographs and attachments containing personal data.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring pages, access times and security or error logs generated when the Website is accessed.
  • Preferences and consent records: your cookie choices, marketing preferences and records needed to demonstrate and manage those choices. Optional technologies are used as described in, and can be switched off in line with, our Cookie Policy.

Most information comes directly from you or your device. A colleague or authorised representative may provide your business contact details in connection with an enquiry; where required, we will explain that collection to you. Please provide only relevant information, ensure you are entitled to share anyone else’s data, and avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, identification documents or sensitive personal information through general enquiry forms.

We use enquiry and contact information to answer questions, provide requested information, prepare requested quotations and manage related correspondence. Where the enquiry concerns a possible contract with you personally, the legal ground is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For business representatives or other general enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to relevant communications, provided those interests do not override your rights, or obtain consent where required.

We use necessary technical data to deliver the Website, diagnose errors, prevent spam, investigate abuse and protect our systems and users. Our legal ground is our legitimate interests in operating a reliable, secure website, subject to the protections required by applicable law.

We process information where necessary to meet legal obligations, respond to lawful requests and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We rely on the relevant legal obligation or, for legal claims where appropriate, our legitimate interests in protecting legal rights.

Optional cookies and similar technologies, such as the embedded map on our Contact page, are switched on by default and can be switched off at any time through the cookie notice or the “Cookie settings” link in the Website footer, as explained in our Cookie Policy. We seek your consent before sending electronic marketing. We do not treat an enquiry or acceptance of website terms as consent to promotional messages.

We will identify any materially different purpose and its legal ground before using your data for that purpose, and obtain fresh consent where required. We do not use website data for decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

04Whether you must provide information

You can browse without submitting an enquiry. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond or prepare the information you request without necessary contact or project details. Forms identify required fields. Optional marketing and cookie choices do not determine whether you can make an enquiry; necessary technical processing still occurs when you access the Website.

05Marketing and your choices

If you choose to receive marketing, we use the details you provide for the communications described when you subscribe. You can withdraw consent or stop marketing at any time by using an unsubscribe link, where provided, or emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out beforehand. We may keep a minimal suppression record to respect your choice. We may still send a reply you requested or an essential non-promotional message.

06Who receives personal data

Access is limited to personnel who need the information for the purposes described here. We may share relevant data with providers supporting website hosting, security, email delivery, enquiry management and technical maintenance, and with analytics or marketing providers only where the relevant features are enabled lawfully. Providers acting on our instructions must be subject to appropriate confidentiality, security and data-processing obligations.

We may disclose necessary information to professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where lawfully required or justified to protect legal rights. If ownership of the relevant business changes, personal data may be disclosed to advisers and the proposed or actual successor subject to appropriate safeguards and legally required notices. We do not sell personal data collected through the Website.

If your request requires an independent supplier or partner to contact you, we will explain the proposed referral and obtain your permission where required before sharing your details. We do not automatically pass website enquiries to independent businesses for their own marketing.

07Where data is processed

We handle website enquiries in connection with our activities in Barbados and Saint Lucia. Hosting, email and other technology providers may process data in other countries. Before making a transfer, we assess and implement the safeguards or other lawful conditions required by applicable data-protection law. These may include adequacy requirements, approved contractual protections or a permitted statutory exception, as applicable. You may contact us for information about the destinations and safeguards relevant to your data. Merely using the Website does not amount to consent to an international transfer.

08How long we keep information

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. For enquiries, we consider the time needed to answer, complete reasonable follow-up and address a dispute. Where an enquiry leads to a contract, relevant information moves into our customer records and is handled under the applicable customer notice and retention rules.

Technical and security records are kept for the period needed to operate the Website and investigate incidents. Consent and preference records are kept for as long as needed to manage your choices and demonstrate compliance. Legal obligations and the need to resolve an actual or reasonably anticipated claim may require longer retention. We then securely delete or anonymise the information, with backups removed through their normal protected deletion cycle. Cookie lifetimes are listed in the Cookie Policy.

09Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks, including access restrictions and measures to protect data during transmission and storage. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will assess it and make any notifications required by applicable law.

10Access and other privacy requests

You may contact us to ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction, object to processing, withdraw consent or request portability. The legal availability and scope of each right depend on the law that applies and any relevant exceptions. We will also consider these requests from Saint Lucia visitors as part of our privacy practices without suggesting that every statutory right operates identically in both countries.

Send requests to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the relevant enquiry or data. We may request proportionate identity or authority verification. We will explain if we cannot grant a request in full. We aim to respond within 30 days and will always observe any shorter applicable statutory deadline. Where Barbados law applies, the relevant statutory response period is generally one month from receipt; any lawful extension will be explained within the required period. Requests are normally free, subject only to charges or refusal permitted by applicable law.

You can raise concerns directly with us. You may also complain to the Barbados Data Protection Commission where applicable, or seek assistance from the competent authority or legal redress available in Saint Lucia or another applicable jurisdiction. You do not have to contact us first to exercise a statutory complaint right. Current Barbados Commission information is available through the Government of Barbados website.

11Children and third party websites

The Website is intended for business and general product enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can assess and address the matter appropriately.

Links to external websites lead to services operated under their own privacy notices. An external link does not itself authorise us to share your enquiry details. Our Cookie Policy explains how optional embedded services are controlled on this Website.

12Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will publish the revised policy and effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. For questions or requests, contact Fiberpol Inc., trading as Fiberpol Infrastructure, at [email protected] or the postal address above.
